In  January  JSC  "Ventspils nafta"has reloaded record high oil and oil

product  volumes  from  rail  -  close to one million tons (0.96): 0.86

million  tons  of  oil products (diesel oil and petrol) and 0.1 million

tons of crude oil - the latter is being accepted since one month ago.

JSC  "Ventspils  nafta"  has  not witnessed that large reloaded volumes

more  than  seven  years, since March of 1996, when 1.3 million tons of

oil products were reloaded.

The  increase of reloaded volumes of oil products delivered by rail has

become  possible  owing  to the modernisation and reconstruction of the

company carried out over the past years.
