JSC  Tosmāres  kuģu  būvētava,  located in Liepāja majority owner - JSC

Rīgas  kuģu  būvētava  within next 3 years is planning to invest around

LVL 7 million.



Investments  will  be  made  in  new  metal  cutting unit as well as in

modernisation of heating plant and other technology.



These  investments  are  planned  for  development of JSC Tosmāres kuģu

būvētava competitiveness in the Baltic and world markets.



Presently  JSC  Rīgas  kuģu  būvētava  works  on finances of investment

program.  Possible  sources  of  financing will be revealed later. Last

year investment in JSC Tosmāres kuģu būvētava amounted to LVL 1 million

according Rules of Privatisation.
