In  2001  JSC   "Latvijas  Gāze"  sales in physical volumes amounted to

1.539  billion  cubic  metres of natural gas, which exceeds the planned

volume  by 219 million cubic metres (or 16.6%), and is a 16.7% increase

over  the  2000  sales.  The  sales  volume  of  liquefied gas was 23,1

thousand tons.



Non-audited revenues from core operations were LVL 105.4 million (12.2%

more than the plan for 2001), and none-audited profit is LVL 9 million.



Pursuant  to  JSC   "Latvijas  Gāze"  Supervisory Board resolution, the

volume  of active gas in Inčukalns underground storage was increased up

to  2.105 billion cubic metres. Total volume of gas stored in Inčukalns

amounted to 4.25 billion cubic metres.
