Today Riga Stock Exchange successfully arranged auction of "Hipotēku un

zemes  banka" AG series mortgage bonds- initial placement. This auction

"Hipoteku  Banka"  offered  7  000  AG series mortgage bonds with total

nominal  value  700 000 LVL. Total auction turnover was 689 670 LVL and

average  yield  7.77% per annum. Traditionally, investors' interest was

high  and  total  demand  was  1 527 000 LVL for 12 272 mortgage bonds,

exceeding supply over 2.5 times.
