JSC  "Gutta"  general meeting of shareholders will be held on September

11, 2001.

Agenda:

1. Approval of Annual Report for 2000;

2. Discharge of Management Board from responsibilities;

3. Appointment of certified auditor;

4.  Other  business  The  meeting will be held on September 11, 2001 at

10:00, the venue will be the company office at 240

Maskavas Street, Riga Shareholders shall have their share accounts with

their custodians blocked by September 1, 2001. The draft resolutions of

the  meeting  are  available to the shareholders for inspection between

August  17  and  September 10 on business days from 10:00 till 15:00 at

the venue of the meeting.

Simultaneusly  hereby  we  cancel  the previous notification on general

meeting of shareholders on September 4,

2001:  due to technical reasons, newspaper "Latvijas vēstnesis" was not

able  to  publish  the  advertisement on a timely basis, as required by

Latvian legislation.

JSC  "Gutta" extraordinary general meeting of shareholders will be held

on September 11, 2001. Agenda:

6. Re-election of Management Board and Supervisory Board;

7.  Revoking  of the public company status and transformation of public

share issues into clossed issues;

8. Approval of the new edition of the company Charter;

9. Appointment of the authorised person;

10.  Other  business  The meeting will be held on September 11, 2001 at

12:00, the venue will be the company office at 240
