In  first  11month  of  1999  JSC  "Balta" has signed LVL 14 201 845 in

insurance  premiums,  Of this, LVL 6 172 873 were received as mandatory

third  party  motor liability insurance premiums and LVL 8 028 972 were

voluntary  insurance  premiums. Total amount of insurance compensations

paid  out  LVL  5  816  412,  compensation  level 40,9%. JSC "Balta" in

premiums subscribed contains 19% of non-life insurance market and 21,6%

by paid - out compensations.
