In  first  10  month  of  1999 JSC "Balta" has signed LVL 13 183 142 in

insurance  premiums,  Of this, LVL 5 863 625 were received as mandatory

third  party  motor liability insurance premiums and LVL 7 319 517 were

voluntary  insurance  premiums. Total amount of insurance compensations

paid  out  LVL  5  485  593,  compensation  level 41,6%. JSC "Balta" in

premiums  subscribed  contains 19% of non-life insurance market and 22%

by paid - out compensations.
