On  Tuesday,  November  16,1999  JSC  "Latvijas  Gaze" signed long-term

natural  gas  supply  agreement  to year 2005 with Russian JSC Gazprom.

Agreement  stipulates  natural  gas prices and conditions of payment to

year  2002  and  supplied  natural  gas amounts to year 2005. Long-term

agreement  will  fully provide necessary natural gas amount for Latvia.

Both parties agreed conditions of agreement are confidential.
