Unibanka has started talks on receiving a syndicated loan in the amount

of EURO

30-50  million.  If  the  dialogue  with  the  credit  arranger  - Bank

Gesellschaft   Berlin   AG  gives  positive  results,  a  corresponding

agreement  on the granting of the loan will likely be signed in October

or early November of the current year.

If  such an agreement is reached, Unibanka plans to utilise the boosted

funds for investment loans and Latvian enterprise crediting.

Bank  Gesellschaft  Berlin  AG  is  also  one  of  the banks with which

Unibanka signed an agreement on USD 45 million large syndicated loan in

May of the current year.
