Today,  on 8th of July, the purchase agreement of Hoiupanga Liising Ltd

was  signed  by  the  Chairman  of  the Board of Hansa Capital Ltd Mart

Tooming  and  by  the  Chairman  of  the  Board of Eesti Hoiupank Üllar

Jaaksoo.   The   agreement   will  come  into  force  after  the  banks

merger-agreement  sanction  in  the  extraordinary  general  meeting of

shareholders on 12th of July 1998.

According to the purchase-agreement, Hansa Capital Ltd will co-ordinate

also  the  activities  of Hoiupanga Liisingu Group companies: Hoiupanga

Liising  (Estonia),  Hoiupanga  Lizings  (Latvia)  and  Amserv  Kapital

(Estonia).
