RECALCULATION OF BALTIX AND RIGSE INDEX VALUES



Recalculation of BALTIX index values from April 29, 2004



The Baltic Stock Exchanges found an error that occurred in the BALTIX index historical 

back-calculations due to incorrect adjustment of the effect of corporate actions of Hansapank 

on April 29, 2004. The error resulted in approximately 0.5 index points, i.e. approximately 0.13% 

of the index value.



Recalculation of BALTIX index values from November 11, 2004



Due to technical problems when publishing closing prices of certain Tallinn and Riga listed 

securities between November 11 and November 15, 2004, a miscalculation of BALTIX values occurred 

since November 11, 2004. Respective closing prices have already been changed on the Baltic market 

data web at <a href='http://market.ee.omxgroup.com/?pg=stats.' target='_blank'>http://market.ee.omxgroup.com/?pg=stats.</a> The corrected closing prices are:

Proceeding from the above, daily values of the Baltic index BALTIX have been miscalculated since 

November 11, 2004. This error resulted in approximately 0.6 index points, i.e. approximately 0.15% 

of the index value.



All BALTIX values since April 29, 2004 are corrected. The corrected index values as of April 29, 

November 26 and all month-ends between those dates are:

Recalculation of RIGSE index values from November 22, 2004



Today, on November 29, 2004, before the opening of the trading session the historical values of Riga 

Stock Exchange index RIGSE will be recalculated from November 22, 2004. The recalculation is 

necessary in order to avert the 0.03% deviation of the index value starting from November 22, 

2004 that was caused when adjusting the index according to corporate action factor on November 

22, 2004. The recalculated index values are available at the table below. The opening value of 

the index on November 29, 2004 will be 383.74 points.
