APPOINTMENT OF A NEW DIRECTOR GENERAL



On 8 September 2000, a sitting of the Board of AB Mazeikiu Nafta took place.

It was decided to terminate the employment contract with Stephen F. Hunkus in

the manner prescribed by the Law on Employment Contract by dismissing him from

the office of Director General since 8 September 2000.

It was also decided to appoint James Eugene Scheel Director General of

AB Mazeikiu Nafta from 8 September 2000.
