MATERIAL EVENT



PRE-ANNOUNCEMENT ON REVENUE IN YEAR 2001



According to the preliminary non-audited financial data, the total revenue of

Lietuvos Telekomas’ Group in the year 2001 were LTL 1,058 million, an increase

of 1.9 percent over the revenue in the year 2000, which is below previously

estimated revenue growth to be between 3 to 5 percent.

The net profit for the year 2001 will be significantly and positively affected

by adjustments, which have to be made to the Profit (Loss) Statement, following

the provisions of the new Law on Corporate Profit Tax (effective from 1 January

2002) with the respect to accumulated deferred profit tax liabilities.

The preliminary statements of the annual results of AB Lietuvos Telekomas’ Group

for the year ended 31 December 2001 will be announced on 28 February 2002.
