PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF THE ACCOUNTING PERIOD



On 8 February 2002, unaudited trial balance sheet was approved at the

Management Board meeting of AB Kauno Energija. Amounts payable and obligations

of the accountable period were 2.08 times hither than the authorized capital.

Unaudited net profit for the accountable period totaled LTL 22.916 million.
