NORD L/B ACQUIRED A 76.01% STAKE OF LZUB SHARES



On 19 March 2002, after the managers of State Property Fund and German bank

Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale signed the acceptance-transfer deed of AB

Lietuvos Zemes Ukio Bankas shares, the finance brokerage division of AB

Lietuvos Zemes Ukio Bankas made corresponding records in the share register of

AB Lietuvos Zemes Ukio Bankas. The German bank Norddeutsche Landesbank

Girozentrale acquired 822,872 units of shares of AB Lietuvos Zemes Ukio Bankas

or 76.01% of the Bank’s authorized capital.
