RESULTS OF PERFORMANCE DURING EIGHT MONTHS OF 2002 AND FORECASTS



During eight months of 2002, Grigiskes AB sold its products for

LTL 43.1 million. As compared to the accountable period of the previous year,

the company’s turnover increased by 6%. During eight months last year,

sales of Grigiskes AB reached LTL 40.7 million. In August 2002, the company’s

sales made LTL 5.4 million, which is by 5.9% more than in August 2001

(LTL 5.1 million).

During eight months of the current year, the company earned LTL 1,298m,

which is three times more than during the corresponding period in 2001

(LTL 443thou). In August 2002, the company generated LTL 402thou, which

is 2.2 times more than in August 2001 (LTL 181thou).

Until the end of the year, the company intends to reach the turnover

volume of LTL 61.4 million and earn profit of LTL 2.3 million.

Grigiskes AB, holding a 49.92% block of shares of Naujieji Verkiai AB,

forecasts that the two companies should reach the consolidated turnover

of LTL 80.5 million and earn profit of approximately LTL 3.1 million

(according to the consolidated balance sheet). Naujieji Verkiai AB

produces sanitary, corrugating, and other types of paper.
