SALES VOLUMES OF VILNIAUS VINGIS AB IN 2002-10-01



In September 2002, sales of Vilniaus Vingis AB reached LTL 13.3 million

(cf. LTL 12.8 million in September 2001). During nine months of the current

year, the company sold its products for LTL 114.8 million, which is by 16.3%

more that during the corresponding period last year. This year, the company’s

export volume reached LTL 78.8 million. As compared to nine-month results of

2001, the company’s sales abroad increased by LTL 12.7 million. More products

were exported to Germany (LTL 5.3 million), England (LTL 5.4 million).

New customers were found in Hungary (LTL 7.2 million), China (LTL 1.9 million),

and Finland (LTL 0.3 million). This year, export to the CIS countries

constituted LTL 4.3 million, or by LTL 0.1 million less than during 9 months in

2001. This year, the export level stands at 68.8% (from January to September in

2001, this level did not exceed 66.9%). In 2002, local customers bought

products for LTL 36.0 million, which marks a 3.5 million increase (10.7%) over

nine-month period of last year.
