NINE-MONTH RESULT OF OPERATION IN 2002

The preliminary unaudited profit generated during nine months of 2002 is

LTL 41.4 million, including:

a) LTL 23.0 million from the core activity;

b) LTL 4.1 million from other core activities and non-core activities;

c) LTL 14.3 million from positive changes of the currency.
