REGARDING ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE COMPANY’S PRELIMINARY RESULT OF OPERATION

Lisco Baltic Service AB will announce third-quarter  results of operation

in 2002 no later than November 29, 2002.



Reason: The announcement of results of Lisco Baltic Service AB is a material

event in respect of the company’s major shareholder DFDS Tor LINE, which, in

turn, is a subsidiary of DFDS A/S. Therefore, announcement of third-quarter

results of Lisco Baltic Service AB is a material event in respect of DFDS A/S.

Following the principle of simultaneity, this material even may be announced

only after DFDS A/S submits this information to Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
