NOTIFICATION REGARDING THE  AQUISITION AND THE LOSS OF THE BLOCK OF SHARES OF

KAUNO TIEKIMAS AB



On 27 August 2003,  Finbaltus FMI UAB owned 16.25 % of the company

votes by the right of ownership.

On 27 August 2003,  Ortopedijos Paslaugos UAB owned 7.28 % of the company

votes by the right of ownership.

On 27 August 2003,  Dirbtinis Pluostas BAB owned 9.85 % of the company

votes by the right of ownership.

On 27 August 2003,  Energostock LLC (JAV) owned 10.38 % of the company

votes by the right of ownership.

On 27 August 2003,  Ukio Banko Investicine Grupe UAB owned 10.80 % of the

company votes by the right of ownership.

Notifications about the acquisition and the loss of the block of shares were

submitted to the NSEL on 3 September 2003.
