PRELIMINARY PERFORMANCE RESULTS AND AMOUNTS PAYABLE FOR THE THREE QUARTERS OF

2003



During the three quarters of 2003, Kauno Energija AB made an unaudited profit

of LTL 10,764,974.00. At the end of the accounting period the ratio of amounts

payable and liabilities to the authorised capital is 0.89 (the ratio of amounts

payable and liabilities of the current year to the authorised capital is 0.21).
