Regarding establishment of a subsidiary



The Board meeting of Lietuvos energija AB held on October 18, 2004 resolved to

establish a subsidiary - a private company, which would be engaged in the

licensed activity of an independent supplier of electrical energy. Lietuvos

energija AB plans to acquire a 100% interest in the shares of the company to be

established.
