Regarding replacement of the securities account manager



On December 30, 2004, Lietuvos Energija AB concluded an agreement with Bankas

Hansabankas AB concerning accounting of securities issued by Lietuvos Energija

AB,  management of personal securities accounts and  payment of dividend.  This

agreement is coming into effect as of January 1, 2005.

The financial brokerage firm Finasta AB will manage accounting of the company's

securities and payment of dividends till December 31, 2004.
