Last year EKRANAS AB sold 4.6 m TV tubes.



In 2004, the TV tubes manufacturing plant EKRANAS AB sold 4.6 m tubes, which is

by 7% more than in 2003.



The company is one of the leaders of this industry in Europe and it accounts for

25% of the market of small and medium size TV picture tubes.



With the penetration of cheap products from Southeast Asia into the European

market which resulted in the reduction of prices, Ekranas AB will not be able to

meet the planned annual indices for 2004. 



On January 17 and 18  the Board is going to consider the  production and cost

reduction plan for 2005 and provide the means for its realization.
