Preliminary Result from Operations for the Accounting Period



AB “LISCO BALTIC SERVICE” group consolidated results:

- revenue in year 2004 increased by 21% up to 220.8 mln. Lt in comparison with

year 2003 – 182.5 mln. Lt;

- pre-tax profit in year 2004  - 20.2 mln. Lt, in year 2003 – 5.8 mln. Lt. The

net profit in year 2004 – 17.8 mln. Lt.

Result is better than last year mainly due to:

- optimal tonnage deployment after acquisition of m/l "LISCO Patria";

- exceptional shipped cargo volumes in  I and II quarter;

- successful activity of subsidiaries;

- year-end revaluation of accruals for claims had a positive impact.
