About new rolling stage project of JSC "Liepājas metalurgs"



In accordance with beforehand attested plan 

of modernization, on May 31, 2005 in JSC "Liepājas metalurgs" took place the 

presentation of new rolling stage project.

Mr. Marko Zeni from company “VAI POMINI” managed this presentation for the 

direction and leading specialists of JSC "Liepājas metalurgs". In the discussion 

time there was reviewed all aspects of project, there was specified technical 

possibilities of finished products manufacturing having regard of market fixed 

flexibility of necessary rolled metal manufacturing.

On Jun 1, 2005 in JSC "Liepājas metalurgs" took place one more presentation of 

steel-melting shop modernization project. There were discussions about steel-melting 

equipment, it’s liaison with infrastructure, discussions about supply of lime and 

technological gases for the steel-melting shop, and discussions about the influence 

of different layouts of technological equipment for on the time schedule for 

implementation of the project’s plan.
