JSC “Latvijas Gaze” information about natural gas sales tariffs



On 8 June 2005 the Public Utilities Commission approved the Joint Stock

Company’s “Latvijas Gaze” natural gas sales tariffs for the years 2005,

2006 and 2007. The tariffs compared to the existing tariffs and depending

on gas consumption volume at heavy fuel oil price “up to 200 USD/t”: will

increase by 9,7 % - 17,0 % starting from 1 August 2005; will increase by

6,3 % - 20,0 % starting from 1 January 2006; will increase by

6,7 % - 22,1 % starting from 1 January 2007. Tariffs might change

depending on the price of heavy fuel oil.



By approving natural gas sales tariffs before the heating season of

2005/2006 the JSC “Latvijas Gaze” will operate in conformity with the

approved budget and will be able to ensure planned long-term investments

in safety, modernization and development of gas supply system.

Simultaneous sales tariffs approval for three-year period provides a

clear perspective for the clients.
