JSC “Latvijas Gaze” information on audited annual report 2004



Joint Stock Company “Latvijas Gaze” informs that profit of 2004 at the

Company’s disposal constitute 18.76 mio LVL, that is by 44.44% or 5.77 mio

LVL more that in 2003. In 2004 total income from natural gas sales and other

services of basic operations reached 121.12 mio LVL that is by 1.41% or

1.68 mio LVL more than in 2003. The volume of gas sold in 2004 was 1.68

billion m3 that is by 0.54% less than in 2003. Main sources of additional

profit for the Joint Stock Company “Latvijas Gaze” compared to budgeted profit

of 10 mio LVL were over-fulfillment of natural gas sales plan and decrease in

LVL/USD currency exchange rate.
