Ventspils nafta termināls handled 0.66 million tonnes in June 2005



In June 2005, SIA Ventspils nafta termināls – a daughter company 

of the joint stock company Ventspils nafta – handled 0.66 million 

tonnes of petroleum products that were delivered by railway. 

Since June, 

more than 0.4 tonnes of the total volume of cargo handled at the 

SIA Ventspils nafta termināls have been made up of gas oil of various 

grade, i.e. gas oil with sulphur content of 0,005%, 0,05 and 0,2%; 

heating oil, and more than 0.2 million tonnes of motor gasoline 

of various grades.



In total, for the period of the first six months of 2005 

SIA Ventspils nafta termināls handled  4.5 million 

tonnes of crude oil and petroleum products that were delivered 

by railway, including  2.2 million tonnes of gas oil, 2.1 million 

tonnes of motor gasoline and 0.2 million tonnes of crude oil.
