JSC "Latvijas Krājbanka" has no information on possible acquisition of its majority stake

Krājbanka has no information, connected with the purchase of the Bank. The management of

 Krājbanka considers that it would be better to address such questions to the 

shareholders. In our opinion, the interest in purchase of Krājbanka, especially from the

 side of foreign crediting institutions, which would like to start or develop universal

 network bank activities in Latvia, would be logical, as Krājbanka with its network of

 customer servicing, customer base, modern infrastructure, developed product base of the

 Bank is very suitable for achieving such objective. The interest in purchase of the Bank

 could be also increased by good, dynamically growing profit figures, increase of deposits

 and credit portfolio, as well as the image of the Bank in the market.
