NEW WATER AND WASTEWATER SERVICE TARIFF FROM JANUARY 1ST 2006 IN TALLINN



On 31 August 2005 the meeting of the Tallinn City Government approved AS  Tallinna

Vesi's application to increase water and wastewater service tariffs by  9.6%  from

1 January 2006.



For domestic customers the new tariffs will be 12.79 kroons/m3 (0.82  EUR/m3)  for

the water supply service and 10.35 kroons/m3  (0.66  EUR/m3)  for  the  wastewater

service.  For business customers the new tariffs will  be  31.00  kroons/m3  (1.98

EUR) for the water supply service  and  22.66  kroons/m3  (1.45  EUR/m3)  for  the

wastewater service basic  tariff.  The  wastewater  service  tariff  for  business

customers is dependant on the concentration of pollution in the wastewater.



These tariff increases are in accordance with  the  contract  signed  between  the

City of Tallinn and AS Tallinna Vesi on 30.09.2002.
