JSC "Liepājas metalurgs" comments on increase in profits compared to the plan, 2005



In budget drawing of JSC "Liepajas metalurgs" for the year 2005 was not 

planed the repayment of the debt of JSC “LEER”. In the first half of the 

year 2005 JSC “LEER” covered it’s account receivable to JSC "Liepajas 

metalurgs", the amount LVL 1 366 424,- is covered by realty. It decreases 

the “debts of debtors” and increases the planed profit of JSC "Liepajas 

metalurgs" in the year 2005.

For net turnover of JSC "Liepajas metalurgs" for the year 2005 was not planed 

to produce the profiles with high productivity of labor. During this year the 

goods for selling are produces for 10 000 tons more then planed because order 

portfolio is made with higher productivity of labor. The amount of delivered 

goods to customers are bigger then planed too. At this year to customers were 

delivered the goods produced in last year. Partly the realization volume 

depends from customer’s desires and possibilities to receive the previously 

ordered goods.
