SWEDBANK WILL INCREASE ITS HOLDING ABOVE 50%

 

Yesterday Swedbank made a decision to execute a call option on 

Hansabank's shares in the total amount of 2.66% of Hansabank's 

common stock.

 

1. Full name of the shareholder: FöreningsSparbanken AB (publ);

2. Registration number of the shareholder: 5020177753;

3. The other party to the transaction: Alfred Berg Fondkomisson;

4. Number of shares to be bought: 2 093 832, or 2,66% of Hansabank's 

common stock;

5. Number of shares owned by FöreningsSparbanken after the 

transaction: 41,463,454 shares, or 52.64% of Hansabank's common stock;

6. Time of transaction: Before the maturity date of the option, which 

is December 31, 1999.
