HANSAPANK IS SELLING ITS OWNERSHIP IN HANSA INVESTMENTS

 

Hansapank hereby informs that AS Hansa Investments carried out a 

stock issue whereby Hansapank’s ownership in the company was diluted 

from 50% to 33.3%. Additionally, Hansapank, Hansa Investments, its 

other shareholder, Trigon Holdings Ltd, and a company based on the 

employees of Hansa Investments have reached an agreement whereby the 

latter will purchase Hansapank’s remaining holdings in Hansa 

Investments by September 30, 1999 the latest. According to the 

agreement Hansa Investments also has to discontinue using the word 

“Hansa” in its name and trademark before January 2000. The new name 

of the company will be Trigon Capital.

 

The transaction does not have a significant effect on Hansapank’s 

financial results.
