COMMENTARY TO THE ARTICLE OF ÄRIPÄEV "EXECUTIVES OF ÜHISPANK UNDER 

SUSPICION"

 

The Supervisory Board of Hüvitusfond has not made a decision to 

submit the materials regarding the transactions concluded between 

Ühispank and fund to police for further investigation. Forward 

transactions concluded between Hüvitusfond and Ühispank last year are 

currently under investigation by the expert commission. The final 

report on this issue will be presented to the Supervisory Board by 

June 18.

Hüvitusfond has no basis to believe that the executive managers of 

Ühispank were involved in transactions preceding the aforementioned 

forward-transactions with offshore-companies.
