NET SALES OF THE ESTONIAN MOBILE TELEPHONE COMPANY WAS 1,36  BILLION 

ESTONIAN KROONS IN 1998.

 

Annual General Meeting of the Estonian Mobile Telephone Company held 

on the 18th of March 1999 approved the financial results of 1998. Net 

Sales (according to IAS) increased by 54 % and amounted to 1,36 

billion kroons in 1998. Net Profit of the year was 390 million 

kroons. 

The Annual General Meeting of shareholders passed a resolution to pay 

dividends 185 million kroons, i.e. 47,4% from the net profit of 1998. 

In 1999, EMT plans to invest more than 350 million kroons for the 

development of GSM-network and the value added services.
