INTEREST RATES FOR VIII-SERIES BONDS

 

Interest rate paid to the holders of Hüvitusfond VIII-series bonds 

is 7% or EEK 7.00 per bond.

 

Interest payments will be made to investors holding the respective 

bonds as of the end-day of 18.11.1999, according to the data of the 

securities register of the Estonian Central Depository for 

Securities.

 

The interest payments are transferred to the bondholders' accounts 

once a year on November 20, or the first banking day following that 

date. Hüvitusfond will make interest payments to the holders of 

VIII-series bonds in total amount of 3.041 million EEK. Interest 

payments will be made to 4050 bondholders. 

 

The redemption date for VIII-series bonds is 20.11.2002. 

Hüvitusfond will then buy back the bonds at nominal value, i.e. EEK 

100.00 per bond. Interest payments on Hüvitusfond bonds to private 

persons are exempt from income tax.
