GENERAL MEETING OF AS SAULES BANKA SHAREHOLDERS

 

The general meeting of AS Saules Banka shareholders took place in Riga 

on Friday, February 19, 1999. The following shareholders of Saules Banka 

were represented: Eesti Ühispank (owner of 80 % of the shares) and 

Netherlands' development bank  FMO (Nederlandse  Financierings-  Maatschappij  

voor Ontwikkelingslanden), which owns 20 % of the shares.

 

As the first items of the agenda, the 1998 financial reports along with the 

report of the auditor, and 1999 budget and activity plan, presented by the 

Chairman of the Management Board Natalija  Klendere, were approved. 

Then the meeting decided to recall the current Supervisory Board 

of Saules Banka (including Rob van  der Wurf, Dmitri Koval,  Gennadi Konoiko,

Juri Stsetinin,  Aleksei Aleksejev,  Vladislav Svinarjov,  Targo Raus,

Ott  Saame  and  Aare  Urm) and elect new Supervisory Board, including Targo

Raus, Ott Saame and Aare Urm. All resolutions were made unanimously.

 

After the general meeting, the new Supervisory Board of AS  Saules Banka 

elected Ott Saame (current Manager of the Department of Foreign Affairs) 

its chairman.
