COMMENTARY OF ÜHISPANK TO THE ARTICLE OF ÄRIPÄEV

 

As a commentary to today’s article of Äripäev "Ühispank discusses 

depreciation of half a billion", we announce that Ühispank does 

not intend a rapid depreciation of goodwill, which occurred after 

the merger with Tallinna Pank. Considering the investment’s pay-

back period, the bank will depreciate the goodwill in ten years. 

In case the developments of the economic environment will cause a 

change in the investment’s pay-back period, the bank can also 

discuss the depreciation of goodwill during a shorter period of 

time.
