COMMENTARY TO THE 22.12.98 ARTICLE OF ÄRIPÄEV

 

There is an incorrect information in the article of Äripäev 

about the decision of AS Kalev to purchase in January 1999 a 

shareholding in Zaporozie factory located in Ukraine. At this 

time, the Management Board will formulate its final decision 

about the results of the negotiations, and will make a 

respective proposal to the Supervisory Board.

So far the Management Board has coordinated the results of the 

negotiations with the Supervisory Board, but no decision has 

been made about a purchase of the shareholding.
