HANSABANK ENTERED INTO A LETTER OF INTENT IN RELATION TO THE 

SELL OF EESTI KINDLUSTUS

 

 

Sampo Enterprise Insurance Company Ltd (Sampo) and AS Hansapank 

(Hansabank) have entered into a letter of intent, whereby Sampo 

will purchase at least 96% of shares of AS Eesti Kindlustus 

(EK). In January, 1999, the parties intend to complete the 

transaction, whereby Sampo will acquire the non-life insurance 

business and Hansabank will keep the life-insurance business of 

EK.
