AS NORMA FINANCIAL RESULTS 10/98

 

The unconsolidated net sales of the parent company of the affiliation 

totaled 43.1 million EEK, and the loss was 3.1 million EEK. The net 

sales of the first ten months this year were 337.3 million EEK, and 

gross profit was 33.3 million EEK. During the same period last year, 

the sales amounted 432 million EEK, and the gross profit was 114.7 

million EEK.

 

The parent company’s profit from normal operations was 7.6 million EEK 

in October. The loss occurred mainly due the reflection of the loss 

from the revaluation of the investments made to the subsidiary Norma-

Osvar in Russia, on the parent company’s balance sheet. The above-

mentioned loss of 11.5 million EEK was also reflected in the 9 months 

consolidated results of the affiliated company.
