INTEREST RATES FOR HÜVITUSFOND VIII-SERIES BONDS

 

The interest rate paid to the owners of the Hüvitusfond VIII-series bonds

is 9.315%.

 

The interest payment term for the Hüvitusfond VIII-series bonds is November 20

every year. According to the prospectus, the interest income will be paid to 

the investors who own the bonds as of the end of a trading day of November 18 in

accordance with the data of the securities register of the Estonian Central 

Depository for Securities.

 

The interest rate paid to the owners of the Hüvitusfond VIII-series bonds

in 1998 is 9.315%. Therefore, an additional 2.315% interest is added to the 

7% fixed interest. The basis for calculating the additional interest are the 

additonal interests of the previous periods, which are in accordance with the

prospectus and confirmed by the Supervisory Board of Hüvitusfond.

On January 20, 1998, the additional interest for the II half of 1997 was confirmed

to be 5.23%, and on July 20, 1998, the additional interest for the I half of 1998 

was confirmed to be 1.94%

 

In 1997, the interest income of the Hüvitusfond VIII-series bonds was 

9.908%, and the amount paid to the bondholders was a total of 

4 304 976 EEK.

 

The basis for calculating the interest income is a 30-day month and 360-day

year.

 

AS at 10.11.98, the share capital of Hüvitusfond was 1.218 billion EEK.
