NOMINATION OF NEW BOARD MEMBERS



In its meeting today, the council appointed two new members to the

Board of Hansapank, Mr Aivo Adamson – Head of Operations and Mr

Aurunas Siksta – chairman of the board of Hansabankas. Last 5 year’s

employment history of the new members of the board is the following:

Aivo Adamson

1998 -         Hansabank, Head of Operations

1993 – 1998    Head of the internal audit department



Aurunas Siksta

1999 -         Hansabankas, Chairman of the board, Head of the

               Administration division

1997 – 1999    Hansabank, Foreign division – Lithuanian project

               manager

1996 – 1997    Lithuanian Agricultural bank, Marketing director

1993 – 1996    Seceur Tronics Technicom, Managing director





As of February 22, Aivo Adamson (together with related parties) owned

1,149 Hansabank’s shares. Mr Aurunas Siksta does not own any shares of

Hansabank.
