EXPANSION OF KRISTIINE KAUBANDUSKESKUS

 

On 05.07.2000 the Supervisory Board of AS Kristiine Kaubanduskeskus 

(100% subsidiary of AS Pro Kapital) decided to approve the second 

stage construction works of the trading center. The company will 

invest EEK 165 million into the project from the company's own 

funds and with a bank loan. 

 

In the course of the second stage construction works, Kristiine 

Kaubanduskeskus will gain 9,000 m2 of trading and service premises. 

The largest tenant on the new premises (4,000 m2) will be a cinema 

complex. The complex will be operated by Baltic Development Grupp, 

a subsidiary of the largest entertainment services provider in the 

Baltic States. Kristiine Kaubanduskeskus will gain about 3,000 m2 

of trading premises; 800 parking spaces will be added to the 

trading center's parking lot. 

 

The trading center will be expanded to the territory owned by AS 

Kristiine Kaubanduskeskus. The construction works will be launched 

in the current year; the second stage construction works of 

Kristiine Kaubanduskeskus is scheduled to be completed by August 

2001.
