ANNOUNCEMENT



ACQUISITION OF OWNERSHIP IN VOICECOM OÜ



AS  EMT,  a 100% subsidiary of AS Eesti Telekom, acquires

26%   ownership  in  an  information  technology  company

Voicecom OÜ on January 23, 2001.



Voicecom   OÜ   has   created   several   solutions   for

telecommunications  and banking sector,  among  this  the

info-technological part of the EMT’s parking service.



Remaining  shares  of  Voicecom OÜ are  in  ownership  of

Estonian private individuals.



The acquisition cannot be treated as a transaction with 

related party, neither Council nor Management Board of 

AS EMT have no other personal interest in the transaction.
