AS EESTI TELEFON SELLS PARTICIPATION IN AS TEABELIIN



On  April 11, 2001, 100% subsidiary of AS Eesti Telekom, AS

Eesti Telefon, signed the sale and purchase agreement of

shares with Eniro Eesti AS. Thereby AS Eesti Telefon  sells

60% of AS Teabeliin to Eniro AB subsidiary Eniro Eesti AS.



Contracting parties will not disclose the sales transaction

price. The transition cannot be treated as a transaction

with related party, neither Council nor Management Board of

EMT have no other personal interest in the transaction.



AS Teabeliin is one of the three largest info-media

companies in Estonia with turnover of 31 million kroons and

profit over 5 million kroons in the year 2000.  44% of

Estonian  directory enquiry service market belong  to   1188

INFOABI.   23 out of 106 employees of AS Teabeliin are

working as  info-media advisers. AS Teabeliin provides both

common directory enquiry service  and additional

possibilities such as call forwarding etc.



Eniro Eesti AS is the leading info-media company in Estonia

owning 57% of  Estonian phone directories’ market with

turnover of 55,5 million kroons and profit of 6,4 million

kroons in the year 2000.
