CHANGES IN TOP MANAGEMENT



The council meeting convened today resolved:



To appoint Hansabank Group’s CFO, Kristina Siimar as a member of the

board of Hansabank.

Kristina Siimar’s employment record for the past 3 years is the

following:

2001 -         Hansabank Group, CFO

1999 – 2001    Hansa Capital Group, CFO

1997 – 1998    Hansabank, Group Treasurer

Kristina Siimar owns 1,662 Hansabank shares.



To appoint Andres Liinat as a member of the board of Hansabank.

Andres Liinat’s employment record for the past 3 years is the

following:

2000 – 2001    Tallinn Department Store, executive director

1997 – 1999    Reval Hotel Group, chairman of the board

Andres Liinat owns 42,000 Hansabank shares.



Andres Liinat will be appointed as the managing director of Hansabank

Estonia after the closing of the Lithuanian Savings Bank transaction.

The current managing director of Hansabank Estonia, Raul Parusk will

assume responsibility for the integration process of the Lithuanian

Savings Bank and Hansabankas.
