SUBSIDIARY RECEIVED ISO 9001 QUALITY CERTIFICATE

 

Bureau Veritas Quality International certified AS Eltek, subsidiary 

of AS Harju Elekter, quality management system to be in line with 

the international standard ISO 9001:2000.

 

ISO 9001:2000 prescribes requirements for quality assurance model

of design, development, production, installation, and maintenance .

The quality management certificate was awarded for design, production and

marketing of sheet metal products according to the quality standards of

a client and the company. Certification by an internationally known 

certification company Bureau Veritas Quality International broadens

AS Eltek's export opportunities as well as increases the company's

credibility among clients and suppliers.

 

Harju Elekter together with its subsidiaries and affiliated companies 

is one of the leading producers of electrical equipment and materials 

in the Baltic countries. ISO quality certificate has also been awarded 

to AS Harju Elekter Electrical Equipment and Cable Harnesses factories,

and affiliated company Keila Kaabel. The group has completed implementation

of Environmental Management System ISO 14001, launched in 2001, and

is now preparing for certification.
