LITHUANIAN HANSABANKAS EGM



Hansabank’s Lithuanian subsidiary Hansabankas will hold an

extraordinary shareholders meeting on October 10, 2003. The agenda of

the meeting is the following:



1. Selection of an audit company

2. Increase of the Bank's share capital by LTL 65 million (EUR 18.8

million)

3. Changes in the Bank's articles of association
